Our Mission

Masjid Al Mu’mineen Chicago is a house of Allah located in the heart of Chicago’s West Side, dedicated to serving the spiritual and social needs of our community. Our mission at Masjid Al Mu’mineen is to provide a place of worship based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, with an understanding of the Salaf, while also addressing the daily realities our people face.

We are a Chicago Muslim community hub that uplifts the youth, supports families, aids the homeless, and creates opportunities for growth and guidance. Through prayer, knowledge, and action, we aim to restore dignity, strengthen faith, and inspire hope for a better future.

Masjid Al Mumineen is committed to uniting hearts upon Tawheed, cultivating brotherhood and sisterhood, and working solely for the pleasure of Allah. From the trenches of hardship to the heights of faith, we serve as a reminder that with sincerity, patience, and trust in Allah, true change is possible.

Coat Drive

Share the Warmth on the Westside!

Masjid Al-Mu’mineen Chicago is hosting a Coat Drive from now until the end of winter. Let’s keep our neighbors warm by donating new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and winter gear.

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Judgment will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)

May Allah make this charity heavy on your scale of good deeds, protect you from hardship, and clothe you with His mercy in this life and the Hereafter.

Donate today — be the warmth someone is praying for through Masjid Al-Mu’mineen, where we strive to support our Chicago Muslim community.

Support Our community

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Charity does not decrease wealth; no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status. This message is especially resonant within the community at Masjid Al Mumineen in Chicago, where teachings like these are shared among the Chicago Muslim community. It's a reminder that, whether at Masjid Al Muminun or any other gathering space, humility and generosity are key to elevating our standing in the eyes of Allah.
